Reagan’s Abigail Steiner and Hamilton's Jayden Burrell Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (Sept. 14)

Abigail Steiner (Reagan High School) and Jayden Burrell (Hamilton High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 6-12. 

Steiner, a state qualifier last season, is off to a strong start in 2026-27. She earned an individual seventh-place finish (among 81 runners) at the Druckrey Invitational to lead all MCC student-athletes and power Reagan to a third-place team finish.

Burrell, a talented multi-sport athlete for Hamilton, had a standout game on the gridiron against Bay View, finishing with 60 rushing yards, 113 passing yards, and 3 total touchdowns in an overtime win.
