Reagan's Curry & Riverside's Gutzman Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (April 28)

Ava Curry (Reagan High School) and Chaeli Gutzman (Riverside High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 21-27.

Curry led the Reagan Huskies to a 5-0 record last week, posting a 10-13 batting line with three doubles, a triple, two home runs, 15 RBIs, 11 runs scored, and six stolen bases. Curry, the Huskies’ star shortstop, was also named one of the top 25 players to watch in southeastern Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Across the MCC, Riverside second baseman Gutzman is currently batting .600 with 13 runs scored and 11 RBIs for the Tigers, including a massive triple in Riverside’s 7-6 win over Rufus King last week.
